Loyal supporters of the actress are demanding that a person who jumped a barrier and grabbed the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good launch be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A viral footage reveals the individual from Australia pushing past media personnel and charging at Grande while the cast walked down a promenade accompanied by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers showed that he was due to attend court on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Record of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a performance. His Instagram account features recordings of him disrupting other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney show in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is obviously a legal violation," wrote an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" one Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Voice Worry Over the Star's Safety

Many supporters accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed dealing with PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" said another message on Instagram.

A number of supporters also criticised guards at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while some called for online networks to block Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Event Details

In videos shared widely, Grande appeared shocked when she was touched by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.
