Football Analyst Chris Sutton Battles Singer Olly Murs in Premier League Predictions

The Gunners' 10-game victorious run came to an end by the Black Cats before the international hiatus, however can the Premier League leaders bounce back against north London rivals Spurs this weekend?

"{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," stated soccer specialist Chris Sutton.

"Frank will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still find a way to win."

The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, versus AI, fans and a range of guests.

In the twelfth round, he faces singer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.

Murs' latest album, the new release, is available on Friday.

Football and Family Experiences

Murs is a skilled soccer player as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of multiple Soccer Aid games over time - but he is not intending a serious comeback as a player.

"{I recently played in a charity match the other evening for a mate of mine," he explained. "The team was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!

"I still love football, but I injured my joint a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too risky for me in my career to do it properly again.

"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the moment that my child or boy chooses to play instead."

The singer and his spouse Amelia Tank have a young family, their daughter and Albert, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming their manager.

"I will not force football on our kids but I've already told my wife that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be managing their Saturday football team," he added.

"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a football club for a period too.

"My father coached with us when I was a child, which is likely where I inherited it. He managed our side for two or three seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!"

Premier League Forecasts

Weekend, 22 November

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea may have to wait a bit longer for their star's return from injury but their attack is now stronger with Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.

In my opinion this fixture will be quite close, however. The Clarets are well organised and their sole home losses so far have been against the Reds and the Gunners.

It suggests a one-all draw to me, but I am in fact going to go with Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third league win in a row.

The expert's prediction: 1-2

Olly's prediction: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3

Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Bournemouth have been defeated in their past two games - although both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.

On the other hand, West Ham secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they appear strong again.

West Ham's only on the road win this season came at Nottingham Forest in August, when West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo was previously that team's coach.

So, what on earth do I go with here - will it be the Hammers extending their run under their manager, or the home side bouncing back?

I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I think what happened against Aston Villa was a blip.

Sutton's forecast: 2-0

Olly's outlook: Bournemouth are doing well but the visitors have picked up under Nuno. 2-2

AI's pick: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Bees were seen as one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign began, but they have impressed a few people under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three wins in their past four games.

A family member advised me to select Bees striker Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks ago and, guess what, I ignored the advice.

The forward will likely score again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or support the away side at Brighton's ground.

The Bees have not had great success on the road this season, and the Seagulls are consistently decent at home. Brentford will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's side carry much more of a threat.

Sutton's prediction: 2-1

Olly's view: This could be a match where you expect there is going to be a lot of scores but it in reality proves to be rather tight. 1-1

The computer's prediction: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

It is a massive fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their past six matches.

Fulham have got plenty of quality in their squad but it nonetheless seems like they could be dragged into a relegation battle.

Regarding Sunderland, well they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.

Their performance in the 2-2 tie with Arsenal last time out was superb. We have not seen anyone else disrupt the Gunners like that this term, and they were more than a match for them.

The sensible thing to do to support the visitors here, because they are obviously capable of roughing the hosts up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat the Blues at the close of October.

But I am not choose that. Instead, I truly need to continue going against the away team with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their positive outcomes because they clearly love to defy my predictions.

Considering the home side's at Craven Cottage record, the sole side they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Their manager's side will be extremely eager for a good outcome, so I am going to say they will secure three much-needed points.

The expert's forecast: 1-0

The guest's choice: I'm aware Sunderland are doing well and additionally that the hosts are on a poor streak... but Fulham have still been respectable at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0

The algorithm's outlook: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

It is a hard one to predict. Liverpool have lost seven of their past 10 games in all competitions, but might they be one of the sides who profit from the {international break|
